Lowell Health Care Center is a 160-bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Lowell, MA. Our Staff is dedicated to providing the most sophisticated Medical and Neuro-Rehabilitative Care in the industry. Our unique program focuses on the treatment of individuals with traumatic brain injuries, Huntington’s disease and other neurological disorders. By cultivating a stimulating environment we help our Residents acquire the functional living skills they need to rebuild their lives. Residents experience social learning settings in which they acquire skills through therapeutic interactions with others.
Using principles and techniques of applied behavioral analysis, our Staff creates experiences that maximize positive change. Treatment Programs focus on meaningful individual goals that enable Residents to return to less restrictive environments and our strong clinical orientation ensures superior levels of Medical, Nursing and Rehabilitative Care. Most importantly the goal is to restore each individual to his or her optimal level of functionality and independence.
Lowell Health Care Center believes that superior clinical care leads to Residents who are able to achieve the highest level of function possible. Our skilled team of professionals is trained to address the physical, social and emotional problems that each Resident faces. Following a comprehensive assessment, each Resident receives an individualized Plan of Care. A wide variety of experiences enhance the rehabilitation process. We provide a number of community enrichment opportunities including trips to sporting events, theater and restaurants/malls. Our on-site greenhouse provides positive healing opportunities. Additionally, our Rehabilitation Team utilizes a variety of technologies, including the WII system, to maximize our Residents' abilities.
